Nicolas Baier: Pareidolias

This exhibition of recent photographic work by the Montreal artist Nicolas Baier is constructed around the ideas of the pareidolia, a psychological phenomenon that involves the appearance of familiar forms from vague visual or auditory sensations. The exhibition was produced through the joint efforts of the artist and the Musée régional de Rimouski, the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, The Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec and the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography.
